Christopher Columbus has been credited with discovering the new world, but what many people don't know is Christopher Columbus was a failure and a thief. So why do we celebrate this guy discovering America, when the natives were already here. We don't even credit the vikings for coming here hundreds of years before Columbus. It shows America honors losers and thieves, that must explain why we are in a recession and the economy. Columbus was suppose to go to India, where he was suppose to find gold, silk, and spices. In fact he and his band of thieves destroyed the natives by tricking them and spreading disease among them, he was a biological weapon in disguise. If we was in modern day time, we would of called that terrorism. We say the Taliban is some terrorist, but the Taliban have never used themselves as a weapon of mass destruction. Not to mention how Columbus went to war with some of the natives. Columbus should have been tried for crimes like betraying the queen and king of Spain, terrorism, and stealing. America should think about changing this day from Columbus day to Native American day, they're the real heroes.
