The Man With A Deadly Mission

Fort Hood, came under attack this week by a man/soldier name Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan. Nidal is a Muslim from Virginia, his parents are immigrants from a small Palestine town. Nidal ended up killing 13 people and wounded 28 others. During the last couple of years he had voice his concern about Americans being in Iraq and Afghanistan, preaching to other soldiers it was wrong. “I don't know about you that would have been the first sign to kick him out.” I'm not saying he is right for doing what he did, but don't you think the army shares a little bit of responsibility in this as well. For one here is a Muslim preaching it's wrong for the United States to be in Arab lands to other soldiers. In a infantry unit this would have been unacceptable, it makes you wonder if the military growing soft. I was reading a couple of blogs and it said Muslim shouldn't be in the military. Right now tensions are high, but just cause one man messed up doesn't mean everyone else has to suffer. When Timothy McVeigh blew up the Oklahoma building everybody didn't say “well all white people are terrorist bomb makers.” We didn't change our opinion about black people either when the DC sniper went on his killing spree. So it shouldn't change our opinions about Muslims. Yes we at war with them, but remember every religion has its fanatics, even the Christians, don't forget the crusades. This man has whats coming to him, remember he did this in Texas. The last time I remember Texas still has the death penalty, so justice will be served. My condolences to the families that lost their sons and daughters, you will be in our prayers.

its a shame that when people think of muslims in the army this man and what he did will come to mind first and not the brave and loyal muslims who have lost their lives or are still fighting for this country. We should remember and honor them and forget this loser.
